Kindergarten
Our kindergarten continues to be rated as meeting National Quality Standards by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority.
As one of only ten Far North childcare centres to have an overall rating of "meeting NQS", our Kindergarten has been acknowledged for our high level of education, health and safety, physical environment, staffing, relationships with children, partnerships with families and communities, and governance and leadership.
Our play-based Kindergarten program encourages children to learn about the world through exploration, hands-on materials, and building on their interests. It helps them to develop positive dispositions for learning such as curiosity, problem-solving, and enthusiasm.
The Kindergarten's connection to Peace Lutheran College and its community ensures a natural progression into the Prep year to come, with our children making regular visits to the school library and joining in on some of the school's events.
Peace Lutheran College's Preparing My Child for Prep booklet is full of great ideas to get your little one ready for their first year of school.
