College Productions

Peace Lutheran College engages in many in-house and extra-curricular performances each year.

Students from Years 7 - 12 are invited to audition for the annual school production which takes a different format each year, presented in our dedicated studio theatre.

Senior students from Years 10 - 12 engage in drama assessments for public audiences, and performance opportunities arise in fundraising and school event capacities.

We also regularly field teams in Shake & Stir's Queensland-wide 'Shake Fest', and enjoy regular incursions and performances from professional Arts companies such as Shake & Stir, Grin & Tonic Theatre, Bell Shakespeare, and Homunculus Theatre Company.

Staff contacts in Cairns' flourishing arts industry also allow the opportunity for students to become involved in productions and exhibitions at Tanks Arts Centre, the Rondo Theatre, Bulmba-Ja, JUTE Theatre Company, and Cairns Performing Arts Centre (CPAC).
