Students come to Peace Boarding, first and foremost with the intention of leaving having successfully completed their secondary education.
Students are in an environment where it is possible to seek and gain guidance and assistance with academic work, work independently in a quiet and conducive atmosphere and have access to modern educational facilities and resources at all levels of their schooling.
Boarding students have a set routine to help them get the most from their academic studies
- A certain amount of study must be undertaken each week
- Dedicated study is supervised in classrooms
- Boarding house parents liaise with teaching staff to ensure students are working to achieve their best
Boarding students are taught the necessary skills to work efficiently and independently, yet be encouraged to seek assistance and share ideas when appropriate. They are encouraged to set their academic sights as high as possible and to work with purpose to achieve their objectives.
