About the Role

The College is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join the secondary school teaching team. This role is vital in nurturing a love of mathematics and a strong understanding of mathematical concepts among our secondary school students. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for both experienced educators and enthusiastic new graduates to make a positive impact on students' lives.

The successful applicant will be passionate about delivering a quality and engaging mathematics learning experience to our Secondary School students and be able to demonstrate their capacity and willingness to engage with the Christian ethos of our College.

Criteria:

  • Experience teaching Mathematics to secondary students
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification and current teaching registration
  • Experience in the provision of quality relevant curriculum programs
  • A sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and experience in a senior school mathematics context
  • Highly developed classroom teaching skills
  • Commitment to upholding Christian values and ethos
  • Ability to work in a team to achieve identified outcomes and sustained performance
  • Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills, time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia to be considered for this position
